About the Journal

Archaeologia Austriaca is a peer-reviewed international journal, which is issued in print and online on an annual basis.

Archaeologia Austriaca publishes articles, short reports, special sections and book reviews on the archaeology of Austria, Europe and related areas. Predominant languages are English and German. The journal covers all periods from the Palaeolithic to Modern Times.

Archaeologia Austriaca is indexed by ESCI (Web of Science), Scopus, Scimago, ERIH PLUS, ANVUR, Portico, Crossref, EZB (Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek) and JSTOR.
