About the Journal

Archaeologia Austriaca is a peer-reviewed international journal, which is issued in print and online on an annual basis.

Archaeologia Austriaca publishes articles, reports, special sections and book reviews on the archaeology of Austria, Europe and related areas. Predominant languages are German and English. The journal covers all periods from the Palaeolithic to Modern Times.

Archaeologia Austriaca is indexed by Scopus, SCImago, JSTOR, Portico, CrossRef, ERIHPLUS and ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index, Web of Science).
